Barbaresco DOCG Vin rouge de prestige et d'excellente qualité, le Barbaresco a été l'un des premiers vins italiens à obtenir l'Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée. Produit exclusivement sur les collines de Barbaresco et de Treiso, le vignoble est situé sur des pentes ensoleillées à une altitude inférieure à 550 mètres au-dessus du niveau de la mer, ce qui permet une maturation précoce des sucres. Le vieillissement de 24 mois, dont au moins 12 mois en fût de chêne, ainsi qu'une maîtrise technique finement développée, font du Barbaresco DOCG Le Clivie un vin structuré et sévère, tout en étant fin et élégant, caractérisé par une transparence et une clarté incomparables.

We recommend leaving the wine to decant for at least an hour after uncorking the bottle and then serving it in large, crystal glasses to allow the aroma to open fully.

PAIRING Ideal with characteristic Piedmontese dishes, such as “battuta al coltello di fassona” (finely chopped beef served raw) or “vitello tonnato”(slow-cooked veal, sliced and served cold with a creamy tuna sauce). Excellent with Alba White Truffle and with structured main courses such as stewed or braised meats.
